The only report from the island was of 2 Whimbrels and 3 Curlews on St. Agnes. Things were better at sea with a Wilson’s Storm-petrel seen from the Scillonian evening crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance. It was seen at 17:40hrs and would therefore be within Scillonian waters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A short-range evening pelagic south east of St. Mary’s produced a Wilson’s Storm-petrel, 60+ European Storm-petrels, 4 Cory’s Shearwaters, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 2 second-summer Pomarine Skuas and an Arctic Tern, 2 Blue Sharks were caught, tagged and released.
