Red-eyed Vireo – 1 Was found in the afternoon in Carreg Dhu Gardens.

Western Subalpine Warbler – 1 in St. Mary’s Hall Garden, Hugh Town.
Little Bunting – 1 in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors.
Short-toed Lark – 1 on the Airfield
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 Newford and 1 St. Agnes.
Common Rosefinch – 1 on St. Martin’s.

A selection from Thursday’s log:
**CASPIAN TERN** – A bird flew in over the Garrison and then over Lower Moors before settling on Porth Hellick Pool. It made occasional fishing forays to the nearby pool and then returned to the beach. This was the first record for Scilly and a very welcome addition to the local birders Scilly lists.

Cattle Egret – 2 Tresco and then Riding Stables area.
Richard’s Pipit – 1 Bryher.
Melodious Warbler – 1 was in gardens below Garrison House on Sallyport.

Blyth’s Pipit – 1 was found near Longstone and then flew to the field were the Porth Hellick track meets Carn Friars Road.
Sora Rail – Still showing well from the Swarovski hide on Tresco.
Subalpine Warbler – 1 on St. Martin’s on the coastal path east of the campsite.
Cattle Egret – 2 birds started off at various sites on Tresco before moving to St. Mary’s in the afternoon and then back to Tresco.
American Golden Plover – 1 still on the St. Mary’s Airfield.
Buff-bellied Sandpiper – 1 still on the St. Mary’s Airfield.
Little Bunting – 1 was in the Peninnis Allotments.
Little Ringed Plover – 1 Old Town Beach.
Melodious Warbler – 1 was in gardens below Garrison House on Sallyport.
