Thursday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – At Porth Hellick 2 Jack Snipes & a Wigeon were on the pool, a Cetti’s Warbler was at the start of the Loop Trail and nearby a Great Spotted Woodpecker was calling in the garden of Porth Hellick House. The 3 Black-necked Grebes were still in Town Bay, 2 Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach and the Swallow was still hawking over the field adjacent to Rosehill Memorial Garden. The Wood Sandpiper was still in Lower Moors, where there were also 2 Firecrests.

Friday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Cattle Egret was in fields opposite Longstone Café, a Great Spotted Woodpecker was in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors and 2 female Common Eiders were off Bar Point.

Saturday’s birds were – The 3 Black-necked Grebes were still in Town Bay, the Wood Sandpiper was still in Lower Moors and a Firecrest was at Porth Hellick.

Sundays Birds were – The 3 Black-necked Grebes were still in Town Bay
