St Mary’s – The Waxwing was seen in Sally Port again today and the six Greenland White-fronted Geese were at Porth Hellick Pool and two Dark-bellied Brent Geese were at Porth Loo.

St Mary’s – The ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen again at Pilots Retreat on the eastern edge of Hugh Town early this morning but until late in the day when it turned up on feeders in a house on Church Road.
St Mary’s – The islands 13th ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was found at Pilots Retreat on the eastern side of Hugh Town at lunchtime. It had apparently been coming to a feeder all morning. It showed again at 1400 and again just before dusk when it was around for a little longer. The last Read more…
St Mary’s – The Waxwing was again in the Sally Port area today and a Common Gull was on Little Porth
St Mary’s – The six Greenland White-fronted Geese were still at Porth Hellick and a Coal Tit of the Irish race was in Holy Vale again. The Waxwing was still coming to apples in gardens in Sally Port.
St Mary’s – The Dusky Warbler was in Lower Moors again but remains elusive. A Long-eared Owl was seen at dusk at Longstone today and a Firecrest was in Lower Moors. The Waxwing was in the Sally Port end of Hugh Town again.
St Mary’s – The Waxwing was around Sally Port again today. St Martin’s – Two Dark-bellied Brent Geese were near Lower Town and a Common Sandpiper was seen on the island today.
