Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th June 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

Wednesday 10th June 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

St. Mary’s – A Black Redstart was at Porthloo, a Jackdaw (now scarce on Scilly) was in a field below the airport, 5 Common Swifts were over Harry’s Walls and 2 were over Porth Hellick Pool. St. Agnes – Still 5 Bee-eaters. Gugh – A Common Cuckoo

Sunday 7th June 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

Saturday 6th June 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

St Agnes – At least four Bee-eaters were on St Agnes today but remained elusive and visited St Mary’s in early afternoon. A Yellow Wagtail was also seen on the island today. St Martin’s – A male White Wagtail was on the cricket pitch again today.

Monday 25th May 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

St Mary’s –  The Squacco Heron was again at Porth Hellick today and one Night Heron was over Lower Moors. The Golden Oriole was on the airport bushes again. Samson –  Two Great Northern Divers were inshore and a Common Gull was on the island.
