The adult male LESSER KESTREL was still on Porth Hellick Down and was seen on a post at Carn Friars , the 2 Chough flew from Giant’s Castle towards Porth Hellick and the first Wheatear of the tear were seen, 2 on Porth Hellick Down & 1 at Giant’s Castle.
On Tresco 3 Shoveler, 4 Pochard and a Short-eared Owl were at Abbey Pool. 5 Great Northern Divers were in Crow Sound.
Tuesday 17/03
The LESSER KESTREL & the 2 Chough were on Porth Hellick Down and a Green Sandpiper was on Porth Hellick Pool.
Wednesday 18/03
The LESSER KESTREL & the 2 Chough were still on Porth Hellick Down and a Merlin was on Camel Rock, with it or another seen at Watermill. A Black Redstart was at Porthloo and the first Swallows of the year were singles at Longstone and Porth Hellick Pool.
