Bryher – The Great Blue Heron was still on the Big Pool and was also seen on Stinking Porth, Wryneck was in the Hell Bay Hotel Garden and a Hoopoe was at the campsite. Also on the island were 2 Pied Flycatchers, 2 Wood Warblers, a Common Redstart, a White Wagtail and a Tree Pipit.

St. Mary’s – A Night Heron flew over Lower Moors, the Hoopoe was still on Peninnis, a Black Redstart was at Porthcressa, the Long-tailed Duck was still in Porth Mellon, the first Cuckoo of the year was at Old Town and a Wood Warbler & a Pied Flycatcher were at Carreg Dhu Gardens.

Tresco – A Red-rumped Swallow flew over Pool Road, where there was also a Pied Flycatcher. The Black Duck was on Abbey Pool and a Green-winged Teal & a drake Garganey were on the Great Pool.

St. Martin’s – A Hoopoe was at the campsite, a Wryneck was on the cricket pitch and; elsewhere on the island were a late Redwing, a Tree Pipit, a Common Whitethroat and the first Grasshopper Warbler of the year.
