Highlights from Fridays Bird log included:

Short-toed Lark – 1 St. Agnes.

Rose-coloured Starling – 1 still on Bryher and 1 Telegraph.

Corncrake – 1 flew across the pool in Lower Moors.

Leach’s Storm-petrel – 1 past Peninnis.

Woodlark – 1 flew over Newford Duck Pond.

Barred Warbler – 1 near the Health Centre.

Whooper Swan – 4 on Tresco..

Red-breasted Flycatcher 1 Rosehill, 1 Lower Broome platform.

Snow Bunting – 3 on the airfield.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 5 on St. Mary’s and 2 on Tresco.

Firecrest – 5 on St. Mary’s.

Ring Ouzel – 1 Porth Hellick, 1 Pelistry and 1 Content.

Pomarine Skua – 1 past Peninnis.

Grey Phalarope – 1 past Old Town Bay.

Wigeon – 2 Tresco.

Shoveler – 2 Tresco.

Little Grebe – 2 Tresco.

Sooty Shearwater – 1 past Peninnis and 2 from the Scillonian.

Manx Shearwater – 1 past Peninnis, 2 past Giant’s Castle and 2 from the Scillonian.

Balearic Shearwater – 5 past Peninnis and 6 past Giant’s Castle.

European Storm-petrel – 1 past Peninnis.

Merlin – A male and a female on St. Mary’s.

Hobby – 1 Borough Farm, Tresco.

Dunlin – 1 Porth Mellon.

Jack Snipe – 1 on the Project Pool.

Whimbrel – 1 Bar Point and 1 Taylor’s Island.

Common Sandpiper – 3 Pelistry and 1 Porthloo.

Great Skua – 3 past Peninnis, 1 past Giant’s Castle and 2 from the Scillonian.

Mediterranean Gull – 2 Porthloo and 1 Porthcressa.

Black Redstart – 1 St. Martin’s.

Whinchat – 1 Higher Moors and 1 Porth Hellick.

Garden Warbler – 1 Sunnyside Trail.

Brambling – 2 Content.

Reed Bunting – 3 on Tresco.
