Little Tern – 1 on Green Island (photo). This is a scarce bird on Scilly.
Great Shearwater – 1 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Europe Storm-petrel – 12 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Grey Phalarope – 2 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Little Ringed Plover – 1 still on St. Agnes on the cricket pitch.
Spotted Crake – 1 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Dotterel – 1 on Wingletang Down, St. Agnes.

Monday (07/09)
Solitary Sandpiper – 1 still on Tresco. on Abbey Pool and the flushed by a helicopter and flew to the Great Pool (photo).
Buff-breasted Sandpiper – There was no sign of the bird on the Great Pool, Tresco but 1was in a grassy field by St. Martin’s Fire Station and what was probably the same bird flew straight through north over the airfield early evening.
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 still on Tresco on Abbey Pool.
Western Bonell’s Warbler– A1 was in scrub at the foot of Shipman Head Down on Bryher.
Little Stint – 4 on Tresco.
Wood Sandpiper – 3on Tresco.
Curlew Sandpiper – 2 on Tresco.
Barred Warbler – 1 on Shipman Head Down slope at the north end by Bryher Campsite.
Woodchat Shrike – 1 still on Bryher.
Red-backed Shrike – A first-winter bird was in a field at the beach end of the Carn Friars farm trail.
Wryneck – 1 Holy Vale, 1 in Buzza Quarry, 1 Borough Farm, 1 at Popplestone Bay, Bryher and 2 or 3 on St. Martin’s.

Nightingale – 1 calling early morning at Longstone and 1 in Popplestone Fields, Bryher.
