Friday 3rd May 2013 IoS Bird Sightings

  St. Mary’s – Single Lesser Redpolls were seen in lower Moors and in a garden at Holy Vale. St. Martin’s – An Osprey. St. Agnes – 10 Whimbrels. Western Rocks – 20+ Purple Sandpipers. Bishop Rock – The boat trip to the Bishop produced 6 Great Northern Divers

Wednesday 1st May 2013 IoS Bird Sightings

St. Mary’s – The Pallid Swift was over Watermill Cove at 08:30 a.m. and an unidentified Kite sp. was seen over Pelistry. St. Agnes – The first Spotted Flycatcher of the year, a Siskin and the Pallid Swift continued its wanderings and was seen over Horse Point from 19:30- 20:30. Read more…
