Monday 17th September 2012 IoS Bird Reports

Tresco – The SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER was still on the beach near Skirt Island and a Lapland Bunting was on Apple Tree Banks. Elsewhere on the island were a Spotted Flycatcher, a Tree Pipit, 10 Redshanks, 2 Whinchats and a Wigeon St. Mary’s – The 2 Citrine Wagtails were still present. 1 Read more…

Sunday 16th September 2012 IoS Bird Reports

Saturday 15th September 2012 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – The Citrine Wagtail was still on the margins of Porth Hellick Pool, where there were also 7 Greenshanks, 3 Dunlins, a Green Sandpiper and a Black-tailed Godwit. The other Citrine Wagtail was still on the Project Pool and nearby there was a Wryneck in Lower Moors. 8+ Read more…
