St. Mary’s – Dusky Warbler still near Higher Moors pumping station, where a Brambling also flew over. 3 Lapwing on the airfield, 3 Pale-bellied Brent Geese in Thomas Porth and a Red-breasted Merganser at Porth Mellon. Tresco – 4 Whooper Swans, 4 Pink-footed Geese and a Scaup

Saturday 6th November 2010 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – Dusky Warbler, Yellow-browed Warbler, Siberian Chiffchaff, 4 Firecrests and Great Spotted Woodpecker all in the Higher Moors/Porth Hellick area. Friday 5th November 2010 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – Dusky Warbler, Firecrest, Siberian Chiffchaff & a late Garden Warbler near higher Moors pumping station and 3 Brent Geese at Shark’s Pit. St. Agnes – The adult Spotted Sandpiper was still present. Tresco – 4 Pink-footed Geese and 3 Whooper Swans.

St. Mary’s – Common Sandpiper at Watermill Cove, Yellow-browed Warbler at Newford Duckpond, Siberian Chiffchaff & Yellow-browed Warbler at Porth Hellick. St. Agnes – The Spotted Sandpiper was still present. Tresco – The 4 Whooper Swans and the 4 Pink-footed Footed Geese were still on the island.

St. Mary’s -A second Dusky Warbler reported near Shooters’ Pool, Lower Moors. The Dusky Warbler, Yellow-browed Warbler & Firecrest were near Higher Moors pumping station.
