Cliff Swallow – 1 still on St. Mary’s, showing well around the airport terminal building.

Isabelline Wheatear – 1 still on St. Mary’s Airfield.

Bee-eater – 1 still on Tresco.

American Golden Plover – 1 still on Porth Hellick Beach.

Common Rosefinch – 1 in a field opposite the entrance to Trewince

Spotted Crake – 1 still in Lower Moors.

Hawfinch – 1 Borough Farm, St. Mary’s and 1 on Gugh.

Lapland Bunting – 1 still on Wingletang Down, St. Agnes. (more…)

Cliff Swallow – 1 still on St. Mary’s, seen at several locations

Isabelline Wheatear – 1 still on St. Mary’s Airfield.

Bee-eater – 3 still on Tresco moving to St. Martin’s and then back to Tresco in the evening.

American Golden Plover – 1 still on Porth Hellick Beach.

Rose-coloured Starling – A juvenile at Telegraph.

A selection from Tuesday’s log call:

Cedar Waxwing – 1 on St. Agnes in Browarth Fields’ hedges late morning seen mid-afternoon briefly in flight, before finally been pinned down for the assembled throng in a sycamore opposite Coastguard Cottages.

Cliff Swallow – 1 still on Tresco and then it or another flew over Deep Point towards Carn Friars. Early evening it was seen over Peninnis and then in Lower Moors where it seemed to go to roost.

Isabelline Wheatear – 1 on St. Mary’s Airfield.

Bee-eater – 3 still on Tresco.

American Golden Plover – 1 still on Porth Hellick Beach.

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool. (more…)
