Saturday 1st – Tuesday 4th August 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Saturday A Green Sandpiper flew over Lunnon, a Mediterranean Gull was at Pelistry, a Wheatear was at Deep Point and 2 Crossbill were in Carreg Dhu pines. Monday 27th – Wednesday 29th July 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Monday A magical evening pelagic trip 6 miles south of St. Mary’s produced 3 Yellow-legged Gull, 3 Great Shearwater, 2 Sooty Shearwater, 4 Wilson’s Storm Petrel and about 150 European Storm-petrel, Both of the petrels gave such close views they were breaking the current social-distancing rules! Tuesday 21st – Sunday 26th July 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Tuesday 14th – Monday 20th July 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Tuesday A Green Sandpiper and a Cetti’s Warbler were at Shooters’ Pool Wednesday 12 Sandwich Tern, 3 Mediterranean Gull ,7 Black-headed Gull and a Common Sandpiper were at Porthcressa. 5 Crossbill were at Longstone and flew off towards Sandy Lane. Friday 10th – Monday 13th July 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Friday 25 Swift were over Longstone. Saturday 2 Mediterranean Gull were in Porthcressa Bay, 2 were in Tresco Channel and 6 were hawking flying ants over Tresco, 20 Swift were also over Tresco and a Little Egret was in Tresco Channel.
