Below are photos by Chris Langsdon of a putative female Collared Flycatcher on Bryher. A quiet day with just a female Pintail on Bryher and a few Little Egrets returning including three birds on Tresco. The first young Guillemot of the year was seen with and adult in St. Mary’s Sound.

St. Mary’s – Single Common Swift over today Tresco – Golden Plover (4) and Wheatear (2) on island. Bryher – Pintail, Redshank and Sand Martin reported today

St Mary’s – Grasshopper Warbler reeling at Porth Hellick between 04:00 & 05:00 hrs.
Bryher – Curlew (25), Whimbrel (3) and Hooded Crow on the island today.
The only bird reported today was a Cuckoo at Old Town, St Mary’s.
