St. Mary’s – The Black Kite flew over Lower Moors. 5 Bar-tailed Godwits & 2 Knots were on Porthloo and 2 wheatears were on Porth Mellon. St. Mary’s – The Bee-eater was seen again near Newford Duck Pond, the juvenile Woodchat Shrike was still at Helvear and at Porth Hellick were 7 Greenshanks, 4 Green Sandpipers & a Common Sandpiper. Saturday 13th August 2011 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – the juvenile Woodchat Shrike was still at Helvear. At sea – A Great Shearwater, an adult Sabine’s Gull, a Pomarine Skua, a Balearic Shearwater, a Sooty Shearwater, 4 Great Skuas, 40 + European Storm-petrels and an Ocean Sunfish were seen on a daytime pelagic trip.

St. Mary’s – the juvenile Woodchat Shrike was still at Helvear. At sea – The first Wilson’s Storm-petrel since July 22nd was seen on a short-range pelagic trip 5 miles southeast of St. Mary’s.

St. Mary’s – The juvenile Woodchat Shrike was still at Helvear. At sea – A shark fishing trip 6 miles west of St. Agnes, produced 4 Great Shearwaters, 2 adult Sabine’s Gulls, 5 Sooty Shearwaters, 80+ European Storm-petrels, a Blue Fulmar and 4 Great Skuas.
