Saturday’s birds were:

Eastern Yellow Wagtail – 1 still in the horse paddock on Kittydown.

Citrine Wagtail – 1still in the same field  as the Eastern Yellow Wagtail

Yellow-browed  Warbler – 1 at Newford Duck Pond and 1 on Porthloo Lane.

Mediterranean Gull – 8 in Porthcressa Bay.

Common Gull – 14 at Porthloo.

Pintail – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Golden Plover – 3 on the Airfield.

Black Redstart – 3 on Porthcressa.Sunday’s birds were:

Eastern Yellow Wagtail – 1 in a field at the junction of Higher Moors and the track to Porth Hellick.

Citrine Wagtail – 1 still in the horse paddock on Kittydown and it or another on the rocks below the Mermaid Carpark.

Black-necked Grebe – 1 in Town Bay/Quay area.

Yellow-browed  Warbler – 1 Lower Broome, the Garrison..

Common Gull – 6 Watermill cove..

Wigeon – A drake on Porth Hellick Pool.

Black Redstart – 6 on Porthcressa and 3 on Hugh town Quay wall.

Redwing – 100+ in the Watermill/Pelistry area.

Fieldfare – 40+ in the Watermill/Pelistry area.

Great White Egret – 1 in Lawrence Bay, St Martins

Rose-coloured Starling – 1 with Common Starlings on the seaweed below the Karma Hotel, St Martins

Little Egret – 8 in Lawrence Bay, St Martins

Lapwing – 2 in the Sheep Fields, St Martins

Brambling – 1 on Pool Green, St Martins

Monday’s birds were:

Eastern Yellow Wagtail – 1 still in the cow field at the junction of Higher Moors and Carn Friars Lane.

Citrine Wagtail – 1 still in the horse paddock on Kittydown.

Black-necked Grebe – 1 still in Hugh Town Harbour.

Pintail – 4 flew past the Daymark, St. Martin’s.

Common Scoter – 2 flew past the Daymark, St. Martin’s.

Red-breasted Merganser – 4 in Lawrence Bay, St. Martin’s and 1 at Shark’s Pit, St. Mary’s (all redheads).

Woodcock – 1 on Peninnis.

Dunlin – 11 Porthloo.

 Ringed Plover – 22 Porthloo.

Whimbrel –  Porthloo.

Common Gull – 3 Porthloo.

 Black Redstart – 2 Porthloo and 2 Middle Town St. Martin’s.

Brambling – 1 Peninnis.

Tuesday’s birds were:

Eastern Yellow Wagtail – 1 was seen briefly in the cow field at the junction of Higher Moors and Carn Friars Lane.

Black-necked Grebe – Now 3 in Hugh Town Harbour.

Sandwich Tern – 2 late birds in Hugh Town Harbour.

Woodcock – 1 in a field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Mistle Thrush – 1 at the Pelistry Riding Stables.

Black Redstart – 2 on Porthcressa Beach and 1 in a garden on Higher Lanes.

Brambling – 3 in a field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.
