Thursday’s birds were: 2 Mediterranean Gulls were near St. Agnes, 650+ Manx Shearwaters were off Annet and 15+ European Storm-petrels & 7 Risso’s Dolphins were seen on the evening short-range pelagic trip.

Friday’s birds were: 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls were near Merrick Island and a Cuckoo & 2 Common Swifts were seen on Bryher. On St. Mary’s a real Scilly scarcity, especially at this time of year, a Coal Tit, was seen in the pines along the track from Trenoweth to Bar Point. A Lapwing, a Greenshank, a Common Sandpiper and a Green Sandpiper were on Porth Hellick Pool.

Saturday’s birds were: 2 Mediterranean Gulls were in Porthcressa Bay and another was in Tresco Channel. A Swift was over Peninnis, a Jackdaw flew over Hugh Town Harbour and a Lapwing & a Green Sandpiper were still on Porth Hellick Pool.

Sunday’s birds were: 2 Common Swifts were over Old Town and 2 Lapwings, 2 Greenshanks, a Green Sandpiper & 4 Emperor Dragonflies were on Porth Hellick Pool. A Blue-headed Wagtail was reported from Lower Moors and a Hobby was over Watermill and Holy Vale. On Tresco there were 5 Pochards, a Dunlin and a Redshank.
