Thursday – 2 Dunlins were on Porthloo Beach, a Common Buzzard flew high over Hugh Town and 1500+ Manx Shearwaters were seen on the evening Pelagic trip.

Friday – A small influx of Common Swifts with 1 at Maypole, 3 at Watermill, 2 near the Daymark, St. Martin’s and 10 over the Scillonian III 10 miles from St. Mary’s. On the Garrison an adult Hobby flew over and a first-summer Mediterranean Gull was at Morning Point.

Saturday – On St. Mary’s the Red Kite was seen again at Content, a Hobby was over Telegraph, a Cuckoo was at Porth Hellick, a Jackdaw was on chimney pots at Star Castle and an adult & juvenile Raven were at Deep Point. 9 Curlews were on Samson from where a Merlin flew towards Tresco, where there were 3 Sanderlings.

Sunday –  The Hobby was again over St. Mary’s, 5 Curlews & a Whimbrel were on St. Helen’s, 3 Common Terns & 4 Sandwich Terns were in Tresco Channel, a Dunlin was on Tresco, 3 Common Swifts  & a Wheatear were on Bryher and 2000 Manx Shearwaters & a Sunfish were seen Northwest of Bryher.
