St. Mary’s – A Lapwing, a Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpipers, a Redshank and 9 Greenshanks were on Porth Hellick Pool. A Green Sandpiper and a Greenshank were on Lower Moors Pool. A Hobby Peninnis & the Golf Course, 2 Northern Wheatears were on the Airfield,3 Common Swifts were over the Garrison and a Common Redpoll was on Sandy Lane.
Bryher – 3 Dunlins Were on the Great Pool.
At sea – Birds seen on the evening shark fishing trip included: a Wilson’s Storm-petrel, 20 European Storm-petrels, 5 Great Skuas, 3 Cory’s, 15 Great and 15 Sooty Shearwaters. Also seen was an Ocean Sunfish, 20 Common Dolphins and 6 Blue Sharks caught tagged and released.
