There were no reports for Monday and Tuesday.

The only report for Wednesday was:

St. Mary’s – A Firecrest was in Lower Moors.

Thursday birds were:

IOSBG members took part in the Non-Estuarine Waterbird Survey (NEWS) and a boat was organised to Bryher and Tresco, consequently these island received rare winter coverage.

Tresco – 3 Iceland Gulls, a Little Grebe & a drake Wigeon were on the Great Pool and a Firecrest was on Pool Road. A drake Pintail & 4 Pochards (3 drakes & a female) were on Abbey Pool and 9 Grey Plovers were below the Blockhouse.

Bryher – An Iceland Gull ( a different bird to the 3 on Tresco) and 2 Dunlins. 9 Grey Plovers, possibly the birds from Tresco were also seen
