Bryher – Much to the chagrin of mainland birders who had spent the last day and a half looking for the elusive Great Blue Heron it was relocated on the Big Pool just as the Scillonian was arriving in Penzance. It had disappeared again by the time birders on St. Mary’s arrived. Also on the island were a Hoopoe, a Wryneck and 2 Tree Pipits.

St. Mary’s – The Golden Oriole & Hoopoe were still on Peninnis, 2 Jack Snipe were in Lower Moors, a Wryneck was in Old Town Churchyard and single Pied Flycatchers were in Holy Vale & at Maypole. A Marsh Harrier flew over Lower Moors & Porth Hellick, 3 Night Herons flew from Lower Moors to rocks at Porthloo, one was on rocks below the Porthcressa allotments and another was at Porth Hellick.

Tresco – The Black Duck and a Green-winged Teal were still present.

St. Martin’s – 2 Hoopoes.

St. Agnes – 2 Hoopoes.
