Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – The Long-tailed Duck was still in Porthcressa Bay, the first Willow Warbler of the year was singing on rocks between Porthloo & Shark’s Pit and 7 Black Redstarts were on the island.

Thursday’s birds :

St. Mary’s – A Black Redstart was at Deep Point and a Willow Warbler was in Lower Moors.

Tresco – The Black Duck and 2 Northern Wheatears.

Friday’s birds were:

St. Agnes – The Barnacle Goose was on the Big Pool.

St. Mary’s – The Barnacle Goose was on Porth Hellick Pool in the evening. A Willow Warbler and the first 2 Sand Martins of the year were on the Garrison.

Saturday’s birds were:

St. Agnes – A male Desert Wheatear was found at Porth Askin, a Siberian Chiffchaff was at the campsite and a Northern Wheatear was on Castella Down.

Tresco – A Green-winged Teal (probably the one from last autumn) was on the Great Pool and the Black Duck & the Barnacle Goose were on Abbey Pool.
