Monday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The Eastern Black Redstart was still at Shark’s Pit and in the Porthloo/Shark’s Pit area were 2 Black Redstarts, 10+ Stonechats, 6 Chiffchaffs, 3 Grey Wagtails, 3 Ringed Plovers, 3 Sanderlings & a Greenshank. In the Rosehill/Lower Moors area were 3 Water Rails, a Jack Snipe, a Common Snipe and a Redwing.
Tresco – A quick boar trip to Tresco and back produced a Dunlin on Stony Island, a Spoonbill on Green Island & a Whimbrel on Skirt Island.
St. Agnes – A Dunlin, a Whimbrel, 2 Jack Snipes, a Merlin, a Linnet and a Siberian Chiffchaff.
Tuesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The Eastern Black Redstart was still at Shark’s Pit and 4 Stonechats, a Grey Wagtail, a Kittiwake, 11 Curlews, a Whimbrel & 6 Greenshanks were at Pendrathen
