St. Mary’s – A Woodchat Shrike was in the pine belt at Normandy opposite Spray View, a Turtle Dove was at Holy Vale and 3 Spotted Flycatchers were caught and ringed at Porth Hellick.

St. Martin’s – A Bee-eater was at Higher Town.

St. Agnes – A Turtle Dove, 3 Cuckoos, 3 Wheatears and a Common Redstart.

Tresco – 4 Great Northern Divers, 5 Pochards, a Common Buzzard, a Common Swift, 4 Wheatears, a White Wagtail and a Grey-headed type Yellow Wagtail.

At sea – 2 Roseate Terns and 40 Manx Shearwaters were seen from the ‘Seabird Special’ trip north of Annet. 20 European Storm-petrels and an Arctic Skua were seen on the evening pelagic trip.
