St. Mary’s – A Grey Plover, a Lesser Redpoll, 5 Siberian Chiffchaffs, 3 Firecrests and 3 Blackcaps at Porth Hellick. A Firecrest & a Jack Snipe at Lower Moors and a Waxwing in Hugh Town
Tresco – A rare winter trip to the island produced 2 scarce species scarce on Scilly – 8 Long-tailed Tits and a drake Long-tailed Duck. St. Mary’s – A Waxwing flew over the quay towards Telegraph in the morning and it or another was seen at Trenoweth in the afternoon. St. Mary’s – 20 Sanderling and 6 Dunlin on Porthloo beach. St. Agnes – A Waxwing and a Siberian Chiffchaff.
St. Mary’s – With no wind and flat calm conditions were ideal for looking at the sea.
