St Mary’s – The Great Blue Heron appeared on Lower Moors in late afternoon having been missing all day to the delight of those who stayed over. A Hobby was over Porth Hellick where a Blue-headed Wagtail was on the pool. The first Corn Bunting for a while was on the edge of the airport in the evening.

Tresco – The drake Green-winged Teal was seen on the western end of the Great Pool where a female Pochard with young was noted as were two male and a female Shoveler.

Bryher – A Black-tailed Godwit was on the pool during the day and a Night Heron was on Stinking Porth in the afternoon with a Turtle Dove noted near the hotel and a Grasshopper Warbler reeling during the afternoon.

St Agnes – The Red-rumped Swallow was still over the Pool with a Turtle Dove, Pied Flycatcher and a Spotted Flycatcher also noted on the island.
