Monday’s birds were:

At sea – An evening pelagic trip produced 5 Great Shearwaters, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 80 European Storm-petrels, 5 Great Skuas, a Blue Shark and an Ocean Sunfish,

Tuesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – 3 Green Sandpipers and 6 Greenshanks were on Porth Hellick Pool.

Samson – A Whimbrel.

At sea – A HUMPBACK WHALE was seen from the Scillonian III on the evening return from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – An hepatic Cuckoo flew past Porthloo.

Tresco – 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Green Sandpipers, 8 Greenshanks, 2 Redshanks, a Sanderling, a Common Buzzard and 7 Grey Herons.

At sea – A Balearic Shearwater, 8 European Storm-petrelsand a Minke Whale were seen from the Scillonian III on the evening return from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Thursday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A female Ruff, 8 Green Sandpipers, 10 Greenshanks, 3 Common Snipe, a Water Rail, a Kingfisher and a Common Swift were at Porth Hellick Pool. A Green Sandpiper was in Lower Moors, a Spotted Flycatcher was by the school playing field and another was at Parting Carn.

St. Agnes – 6 Green Sandpipers, 4 Common Sandpipers, a Greenshank, a Redshank, 8 Ringed Plover, a Dunlin, a Sanderling, 2 Common Snipe, 10 Wheatears, a Whinchat, 4 Spotted Flycatchers, a Pied Flycatcher and a Willow Warbler.
