Tresco – 2 Hobby, a Tufted Duck and the female Pochard now only had 5 young. St. Martin’s – 4 Sanderlings and 15+ Common Swifts. Bryher – A Greenshank and a Wheatear

St. Mary’s – 2 Cuckoos were at Porth Hellick and a Green Sandpiper flew over Hugh Town at 03:30! Tresco – A Hobby, a Common Buzzard, a Whimbrel, the juvenile Iceland Gull and 29 Common Swifts, a good count for Read more…
St. Mary’s – Cuckoos were at Porth Hellick, Mount Todden and Lower Moors. Tresco – A juvenile Iceland Gull and a female Pochard with 6 young (Pochard are only sporadic breeders on Scilly).
St. Marys – A Turtle Dove was at Salakee. St. Agnes – A Turtle Dove and 3 Ravens
St. Marys – A Cuckoo was at Salakee. Tresco – A juvenile Iceland Gull, a Pochard, a Common Buzzard and a Common Swift. St. Agnes – A Golden Plover. Annet – 350 Manx Shearwaters were seen offshore in the evening.

St. Mary’s – A Swift was at Telegraph and Cuckoos were at Salakee & Mount Todden Bryher – A Hobby, 2 Turtle Doves and a singing Golden Oriole
St. Mary’s – The female Hawfinch that is on the island at the moment was in Lower Moors. At sea – A Balearic Shearwater was seen from the Scillonian
