Saturday 4th June 2011 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – A Common Sandpiper on Porth Hellick Pool and a Swift over Old Town. Tresco – 3 Sanderlings, 3 Greenshanks, 2 Common Buzzards, a Hobby, a Turtle Dove and a Swift. St. Agnes – 4 Curlews, 3 Whimbrels and a Swift.

Wednesday 1st June 2011 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – A Common Rosefinch was at Salakee. Annet – The Marsh Harrier was still present and seen later in the day over Samson. At sea – 20 European Storm-petrels, a Wilson’s Storm-petrel, a Great Skua, 3 Puffins and 10 Common Terns.
