Wilson’s Storm-petrel – The first of the season was 1 on the evening Pelagic trip, 3 miles southwest of the Bishop Rock (photo).

Golden Oriole – 1 in Carreg Dhu Gardens,

Red Kite – Still about 10 around.

Pintail – A drake on Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Tufted Duck – 2 drakes and a female on Abbey Pool, Tresco

Pochard – 4 drakes and a female with a second brood of 4 on Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Common Buzzard – 1 flew west over Sandy Lane.

Little Egret – 1 on Tresco.

European Storm-petrel – 45 on the evening Pelagic trip, 3 miles southwest of the Bishop Rock.

Manx Shearwater –200 on the evening Pelagic trip, 3 miles southwest of the Bishop Rock.

Mediterranean Gull –3 on Tresco.

Arctic Skua – A light-morph adult on the evening Pelagic trip, 3 miles southwest of the Bishop Rock.

Common Swift – 1 over the power station in Hugh Town.

Tuesday (13/06) 

Red Kite – Still a few around.

Common Buzzard – 1 over Kittydown.

Hobby – 1 over Kittydown.

Manx Shearwater – 170+ flew east past Deep Point at 06:30.

Wednesday (14/06) 

Red Kite – Still a few around.

Turtle Dove – 1 on Mount Todden Farm Track.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 in Rosehill Gardens.

Thursday (15/06) 

Red Kite – Still reported in twos and threes.

European Storm-petrel – 7+ seen on the evening pelagic/fishing trip 3 miles southwest of Bishop’s Rock.

Manx Shearwater – 200 seen on the evening pelagic/fishing trip 3 miles southwest of Bishop’s Rock and “100s” feeding north of Bryher.

Little Egret – 1 on St. Helen’s.

White Wagtail –An adult was feeding 2 young on Tresco.

Blue Shark – 1 caught, tagged and released on the evening pelagic/fishing trip 3 miles southwest of Bishop’s Rock.

Ocean Sunfish – 1 seen on the evening pelagic/fishing trip 3 miles southwest of Bishop’s Rock.
