Pintail – A drake on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Pochard – 3 drakes on Abbey Pool and a drake on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Eider – A first-winter drake and Female off South Beach, Tresco.

Great Northern Diver – 9 off Pelistry/Toll’s Island,31 off Tresco and 1 off Samson.

Black-throated Diver A summer-plumage bird just off Innisidgen.

Wood Sandpiper – A dead bird was found opposite Porthloo Duck Pond

Sandwich Tern – 5 on rocks off Lower town, St. Martin’s and 2 fishing offshore from the Turk’s Head Pub on St. Agnes.

Hooded Crow – 1 again at Watermill Cove,

Swallow – 6 over the airfield, 1 over Juliet’s Garden,1 over Porthloo Duck Pond and 1 Tresco.

Grey Wagtail – 1 Tresco.

Scandinavian Rock Pipit – 1 of this scarce taxa on tideline east of Bar Point.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 2 Porth Killier, St. Agnes.

Redwing – 2 Rosehill and 1 on St. Agnes.

Wheatear – 1 at Beady Pool and 1 on Wingletang near cove Vean, Tresco.

Cattle Egret – 2 at New Grimsby, Tresco.

Eider – A female at Bathinghouse Porth, Tresco.

Great Northern Diver – 3 in Crow Sound.

Black-throated Diver – A summer-plumage bird in Bathinghouse Porth, Tresco.

Purple Sandpiper – 2 near Old Town Quay.

Whimbrel – 12 on Toll’s Island, Pelistry Bay.

Arctic Skua – A dark phase flew east through Crow Sound.

Merlin – 1 flew over the Golf Club.

Hooded Crow – 1 again at Watermill Cove.

Swallow – 1 flew past Lower Town, St. Agnes.

House Martin – 1 at McFarland’s Down.

Sand Martin – 1 between Watermill & Toll’s Island and 1 on Bryher.

Redwing – 1 in the ploughed field at Parting Carn.

Great Northern Diver – 4 seen from the Garrison.

Black-throated Diver – 1 seen from the Garrison looking towards Annet.

Firecrest – 1 briefly at Upper Broome Platform on the Garrison.

Hooded Crow – 1 again at Watermill Cove.

Purple Sandpiper – 1 on Old Town Quay.

Whimbrel – 5 flew towards Campsite Beach, St. Agnes.

Jack Snipe – 1 Standing Stones Field.

Mediterranean Gull – A 2CY bird was on Porth Mellon Beach and 2 first-winter birds in Hugh Town Harbour.

Yellow-legged Gull – A 3CY bird in Porth Cressa Bay.

Swallow – 5 flew over and through Porth Hellick Pool,1 over Hugh town Church, 4 Standing Stones Field, 1 Lower Moors and 1 on St. Martin’s.

Tree Pipit – 1 on St. Martin’s was the first of the year.

YellowWagtail – The first of the year were, 1 flew from Pelistry Riding Stables and 1 in Lower Moors.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing in Lower Moors.

Redwing – 2 at Par0ting Carn.

Black Redstart –1 at Upper Benham Battery on the Garrison and a female on Chapel Down, St. Martin’s.

Brambling – A pair (including a cracking male) at Trenoweth and 1 Standing Stones Field.
