Pectoral Sandpiper – 2 on the Great Pool

Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 still in the Middle Town pines, St. Martin’s (photo).

Common Rosefinch – 1 still at Porth Killier, St. Agnes.

Dotterel – 2 on Castle Down, Tresco and maybe the same 2 moving around St.Agnes.

Spotted Redshank – 1 still on the Great Pool. 

Nightingale – 1 found dead at Mount Todden, killed by a cat!

Turtle Dove – 1 still near Holy Vale Vineyard.

Snow Bunting –2 on Peninnis, 1 in a field along King Edward’s Road &1 near the lighthouse, 2 near the Daymark St. Martin’s and 1at Porth Miller, St. Agnes

Golden Plover – 2 on St. Martin’s. 

Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 2 off Bar Point and 5 in Pentle Bay.

Balearic Shearwater – 1 flew east past Giant’s Castle and it or another flew past Peninnis Head and 1 on a pelagic trip.

Sooty Shearwater  2 on a pelagic trip.

Little Egret – 8 on the Great Pool. Tresco.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Porthloo.

Great Skua – 1 flew west past Peninnis Head and 4 on a pelagic trip.

Arctic Skua – 1 heading southeast off Giant’s Castle, 1 west past Peninnis Head and 2 on the pelagic trip.

Arctic Tern  2 on a pelagic trip.

Merlin – 1 flew over Middle Town Pines, St. Martin’s and 1 on St. Agnes.

Puffin – 2 late birds on a pelagic trip.

Skylark – 5 Longstone and 1 on St.Martin’s.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 calling between the hides at Port Hellick.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 on St. Agnes.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 in the Parsonage Garden, St. Agnes and 1 in the pine plantation at Middle Town, St. Martin’s.

Whinchat –1 in a field on Airport Lane and 1 on St. Martin’s.

Firecrest –1 on the Garrison near Star Castle before moving to the Dead Pine Walk.

White Wagtail – 5 on Town Beach.

Siskin – 2 on St. Martin’s.

Crossbill – 1 flew over Middle Town Pines, St. Martin’s.

Short-billed Common Dolphin  20 on a pelagic trip.

Harbour Porpoise  25+ off the Daymark, St. Martin’s

Atlantic Bluefin Tuna  10 on a pelagic trip.

American Golden Plover – 1 on Castle Down, Tresco..

Snow Bunting – 1 at Redan S on the Garrison, 4 by the Daymark, St. Martin’s, 1 at Browarth, St. Agnes and 1 Shipman Head Down, Bryher.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 on the path between the road and the hides at Porth Hellick and 1 in the Dump Clump.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 3 on Bryher Pool and 4 Pentle Bay, Tresco.

Pink-footed Goose – 2 on Bryher Pool and probably the same 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Eider – 1 off the Daymark, St. Martin’s.

Sooty Shearwater – 1 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Little Egret – 1 Porth Hellick Beach.

Whimbrel – 4 Watermill Cove and 8 at Pendrathen.

Mediterranean Gull – 1 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Great Skua – 4 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Arctic Skua – 1 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Kingfisher – 1 in Old Town Bay.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 calling in Lower Moors.

Whinchat – 1 in a field at the Telegraph end of Pungies Lane.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 still in the Middle Town pines, St. Martin’s.

Grey Wagtail – 1 at Borough Farm, St. Mary’s.
