Pochard –  2 drakes and a female on Porth Hellick Pool (scarce on St. Mary’s)

Turtle Dove – 1 Carn Friars

Great Northern Diver – 1 seen from the Garrison

Whimbrel – 1 Porth Mellon

Iceland Gull – 2 Porthloo

White Wagtail – 2 Porth Mellon

 

Tuesday (04/05)

Purple Heron – 1 seen on the path through Lower Moors, seemed to have a a damaged wing and walked off in to the bushes/reeds. From the location it is suspected it flew into an overhead cable

Swift – 1 over Salakee, 1 flew north over Porth Hellick Down

Turtle Dove – 1still in field at the top of Cove Vean track on St. Agnes,

Golden Plover – 1 Horse Point, St. Agnes

Whimbrel – 20 St. Agnes, 9 Porthloo, 12 St. Martin’s

Iceland Gull – 2 Porthloo

Ring Ouzel –  2  on St. Agnes

Yellow Wagtail – 1 Salakee, 2 or 3 on St. Agnes

 

Wednesday (05/05)

Blue-headed Wagtail – 1 around Bryher Pool

Wood Warbler – 1 at the top of Holy Vale

Shelduck –  3 Porth Hellick Pool

Golden Plover – 1 still at Horse Point, St. Agnes 

Iceland Gull – 1 flew over Hugh Town Harbour towards Porthloo, 1 again on a bird table in a garden behind Star Castle

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 Porth Hellick Loop

Yellow Wagtail – 1 in a cow field opposite Longstone Café, a female at Porth Hellick in the evening
