Pallas’s Warbler – 1 trapped, ringed and released at Porth Hellick Ringing Station was the latest ever record on Scilly. It was later seen behind the ringing lanes near the small pool on Carn Friars Farm (photo)

Cattle Egret – 1 flew north east over the Great Pool, Tresco

Siberian Greylag Goose – 1 flew over Porth Hellick and was later on the pool

Russian White-fronted Goose – 1 flew over Porth Hellick and was later on the pool

Brent Goose – 4 Samson

Shelduck – 20 Samson

Wigeon – 8 on the Great Pool, Tresco

Pintail – A drake on the Great Pool, Tresco

Shoveler – A drake on the Great Pool, Tresco

Tufted Duck – A juvenile on the Great Pool, Tresco

Common Scoter – 6 in the Roads

Red-breasted Merganser – A drake flew out of Tresco Channel and appeared to land near St. Agnes 

Great Northern Diver – 2 Pentle Bay, Tresco

Spoonbill – 3 Samson

Grey Plover – 2 Pentle Bay, Tresco

Bar-tailed Godwit – 13 Pentle Bay, Tresco

Iceland Gull – 1 flew past Carn Wethers, St. Martin’s, 1 over Hugh Town

Jackdaw – 1 in a garden on the Garrison flew towards Hugh Town

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 Porth Hellick

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 still in Lower Moors, 1 Porth Hellick, 1 still in a garden at Higher Town, St. Martin’s

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 Porth Hellick

Monday (07/12)

Dusky Warbler – 1 still in Lower Moors

Cattle Egret – 1 flew over Hugh Town and landed at Trewince, later on there were 3 there. 1 flew out of the trees on the island in Abbey Pool, Tresco

Snow Bunting – 1 in the Airport car park

Siberian Greylag Goose – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool then flew towards Kittydown

Russian White-fronted Goose – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool then flew towards Kittydown

Iceland Gull – 1 at Porth Mellon moving to Hugh Town, Porthloo and back to Porth Mellon
