Wednesday 4th – The Hermit Thrush was still in the horse paddock at the bottom of Kittydown track and 11 Black Redstart were at Porthloo.

A boat trip for a couple of hours around island waters proved very fruitful yielding: 11 Great Northern Diver, 2 Slavonian Grebe, 6 Brent Geese, 10 Shelduck, 10 Common Scoter, a Long-tailed Duck, 3 Spoonbill and 5 Purple Sandpiper

Reports from Tresco included a Pink-footed Goose, 5 Wigeon, 3 Pochard  a Scaup and 10 Fieldfare.

Thursday 5th – The Hermit Thrush was still in the horse paddock at the bottom of Kittydown track and the 2 Chough were at Giants Castle. A Swallow was flying around Hugh House on the Garrison and a Firecrest was at Sallyport.

Spoonbill  were on Green Island, Tresco.

Seen on Tresco were 3 Shoveler, 2 Pintail, 9 Wigeon, a Scaup, a Pink-footed Goose, 12 Common Gull, 70 Redwing, 2 Black Redstart, 2 White Wagtail and a Brambling.

Friday 6th – The only reports were of the Hermit Thrush still in the horse paddock at the bottom of Kittydown track and the 2 Chough still at Giants Castle.

Saturday 7th – Again the only reports were of the Hermit Thrush still in the horse paddock at the bottom of Kittydown track and the 2 Chough on Peninnis before they flew off towards Giants Castle.
