After a run of Yankee birds the east struck back with the Citrine Wagtail still at Salakee, an Isabelline Wheatear on Castle Down, Tresco and a Red-flanked Bluetail at Lower Town Farm, St. Agnes. The Blue Rock Thrush was still showing on the Garrison. A Red-throated Pipit was seen on St. Agnes and Peninnis and then flew back towards St. Agnes. Waxwing were seen on St. Agnes & Tresco. A Red-necked Phalarope were seen and photographed on a short-range pelagic trip, this a prized rarity on Scilly. Another Scilly scarcity was a Dartford Warbler 0n Peninnis.

The 2 Pink-footed Geese were still at Kittydown & 1 was on Tresco, 3 Shoveler & a Little Grebe were on Abbey Pool, Tresco and 2 Wigeon & a Scaup were on the Great Pool, Tresco, 3 Common Scoter were off Samson &2 flew past Peninnis and 3 Great Northern Diver were off Innisidgen/Watermill & 1 was off Samson. Spoonbill numbers continue to increase with 8 on Green Island, Samson, the ring-tailed Hen Harrier was still on Bryher and the Spotted Crake was till in Lower Moors. 3 Jack Snipe were on Porth Hellick Pool, 10 Grey Phalarope & 4 Purple Sandpiper were seen on a short-range pelagic trip, 4 Mediterranean Gull were on Abbey Pool, Tresco, 2 were on St. Agnes, 2 were in the Roads & 2 were seen on the pelagic trip, 3 Sabine’s Gull , 4 Great & 2 Arctic Skua, were also seen on the pelagic, with another 2 Great Skua & 2 Arctic Skua seen off Peninnis. A Short-eared Owl was on Bryher, 2 Merlinwere on St. Agnes and a Red-backed Shrike was on St. Agnes. 14 Yellow-browed Warbler were logged on St. Mary’s, 5 were on St. Agnes & 4 were on Tresco, a Common Whitethroat was on St. Agnes and 3Firecrest were on St. Mary’s. Ring Ouzel were at Watermill & on Peninnis, there were still plenty of Fieldfare & Redwing but numbers were down, and a Mistle Thrush was on Tresco. The Red-breasted Flycatcher was still at Borough Farm, Tresco, 5 Black Redstart were on St. Mary’s, 4 were on Tresco & 1 was on Bryher, Whinchat were lingering on Tresco & Bryher and there were still about a dozen Wheatear reported across the islands. 13 Brambling were on the Garrison, 1 was in Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors & 2 were at Carn Vean, 20 Siskin were at Carn Friars, 40 were on Tresco & 2 were on St. Agnes and a Lapland Bunting was as Troy Town, St. Agnes.
