Fridays birds were: A Yellow Wagtail flew over the Star Castle and a Firecrest was in Carreg Dhu gardens. A Med Gull and 32 Sandwich Tern were on Newford Island. The Lesser Yellowlegs remained on Tresco and a late report of a possible Long-tailed Tit came from the Middle Down area of the island. Also on Tresco were 4 Spotted Flycatchers, a Turtle Dove, 13 Crossbill and good numbers of Sand Martins and Swallows were over the Great Pool. Pied and a Spotted Flycatchers were in the pine belt on Porthloo Lane. Another Pied Flycatcher was at Carn Friars and Kingfisher and 3 Snipe were at Porth Hellick Pool. A probable Barred Warbler was in Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison along with 5 Spotted Flycatchers and a Garden Warbler. Sparrowhawk and a Hobby were seen over Lower Moors and a Wigeon was at Porthcressa. A mixed flock of a dozen or more Yellow and White Wagtails flew over Porth Hellick Pool and three Yellow Wagtails from that group stopped briefly in front of the Stephen Sussex hide. A Crossbill flew north over Parting Carn and 2 Whinchat were opposite Bishop View. A Firecrest and Common Redstart were on St Martins and 2 Grey Phalaropes were off the daymark there. 

Saturdays Birds were:  Crossbill, Garden Warbler, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 12 ‘alba’ Wagtails and a Grey Wagtail were reported from The Garrison along with 12+ Blackcap. Another Crossbill was heard flying over Hugh Town. An immature Bluethroat was elusive at the Great Pool, Tresco and a Wryneck was in Buzza Quarry. A Lesser Whitethroat and a Whinchat near Woolpack and another Whinchat was at the allotments on Peninnis. A Firecrest and a Crossbill were seen at Longstone and a Jack Snipe and Green Sandpiper were at Porth Hellick Pool. On St Agnes a Yellow Wagtail, 3 Whinchats, Spotted Flycatcher and a Firecrest were reported. A Sooty Shearwater, 2 Bonxies and 30+ Common Dolphin were seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III.
