Thursday’s Birds were: 8 Willow Warblers, 16 Sedge and 13 Reed Warblers were amongst birds ringed at Porth Hellick. 30 + Common Terns were off Roseveana nd a Puffin was south of St Agnes. The evening pelagic produced single Wilson’s Petrel.

Fridays Birds were: The two Black Swans remained in the harbour. Ringing at Porth Hellick produced 4 Reed Warblers, 2 Willow Warblers and a French ringed Sedge Warbler. Up to 100 Swifts were over the power station and 60 were over Porth Hellick where three Green Sandpipers were on the pool.

Saturdays Birds were: A possible Pectoral Sandpiper was heard at Porth Hellick. Four Green Sandpipers and a Willow Warbler were also there. A Wheatear was at Giants Castle.

Sundays Birds were: Two Common Sandpipers were at Pelistry. Two Greenshank were at Porth Hellick and two Wheatears were on the airfield. Of interest, a Four-spot Chaser and three Emperor Dragonflies were at Porth Hellick.

Mondays Birds Were: A possible Fea’s Petrel was seen from the evening Pelagic, south of St Mary’s along with a single Wilson’s Petrel, 40+ European Storm Petrels, 1 Sooty Shhearwater and a Great Skua.

Tuesday’s Birds were: On Tresco a Wood Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, 5 Redshanks and 8 Greenshank were on Great Pool. An Aquatic Warbler was reported belatedly from the 5th at Porth Hellick beach.

Wednesdays Birds were: Single Sanderling, Whimbrel and two Common Sandpipers were on Bryher. Five juvenile Med Gulls and a Whimbrel were at Morning Point.
