Wednesday’s birds were:
Black-necked Grebe – 3 in Town Bay.
Red-breasted Merganser – 4 females commuting between Town Bay and Porthcressa Bay.
Common Scoter – A drake in Porthcressa Bay.
Black Redstart – 2 on Porthcressa Beach and 2 in a garden on High Lanes.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 on the road from Porthloo Lane to Mount Flaggon.
The only report for Thursday was:
Black Redstart – 4 on Porthloo Beach.
Friday’s birds were:
Serin – 1 was in a field by the road between Normandy corner and Carn Friars Farm track.
Black-necked Grebe – 3 still in Town Bay.
Common Scoter – The drake was still in Porthcressa Bay.
Shoveler – A drake was on Porth Hellick Pool.
Wigeon – A drake was on Porth Hellick Pool.
Firecrest – 1 at Newford Duck Pond.
