Monday’s birds were : A Green Sandpiper flew over Peninnis and was later found on Porth Hellick Pool. A Swift was at Lower Moors, 8 Pochards (a pair and 6 young) were on the Great Pool, Tresco and 40+ Manx Shearwaters were off Annet.

Tuesday’s birds were: 4 Swifts were over Normandy, a second-winter Mediterranean Gull was in St. Mary’s Sound and 3 more ( a full adult and 2 sub-adults) were in the Roads. The highlights of the evening short-range pelagic trio were: 2 Sooty Shearwaters, a juvenile Yellow-legged Gull, an Ocean Sunfish and 20 Common Dolphins.

Wednesday’s birds were: A Honey Buzzard flew over St. Mary’s to Tresco and back over St. Mary’s. 3 Swifts were over Peninnis with 2 more at Telegraph, a Hobby was over Longstone & Higher Moors, A Jackdaw was ay Porthloo, a summer-plumaged Greenshank was in Lower Moors and 7+ Risso’s Dolphins were off the Garrison.
