Friday: 2 Lapwings & 2 Greenshanks were on Porth Hellick Pool and a Hobby flew over.
Saturday: 2 Lapwings, 2 Greenshanks & a Green Sandpiper were still on Porth Hellick Pool.
Sunday: A Lapwing was still on Porth Hellick Pool and a Green Sandpiper flew over there and Gugh.
Monday: 2 Common Swifts were screaming over Hugh Town, a sound rarely heard on Scilly. An adult and first-summer Mediterranean Gull were in Porthcressa Bay. 10+ European Storm-petrels, a Great Skua, 20+ Bottlenose Dolphins, 2 Sunfish and 12 Blue Sharks were seen on the short-range evening pelagic trip, 6 of the sharks were caught, tagged and released.
Tuesday: 5 Mediterranean Gulls (1 juvenile, 1 first-summer, 1 second-summer & 2 adult summer) and an adult & first-summer Sandwich Tern were in Porthcressa Bay. A first-summer & second-summer Mediterranean Gull and a Sandwich Tern were in Tresco Channel.
Wednesday: A Merlin was on the Telegraph mast and a pod of Common Dolphins were off Deep Point.
Thursday: 3 European Storm-petrels, a Wilson’s Storm-petrel, a Sooty Shearwater, about 20 Common Dolphins and 8 Blue Sharks were seen on the short-range evening pelagic trip, 5 of the sharks were caught, tagged and released.
