The 2 Black-necked Grebes remained in Town Bay throughout the fortnight. A Black Redstart was at Little Porth on 23/01. There was a cold weather movement of waders, with 30-40 Lapwings on the Airfield on 26 & 27/01 and probably the same flock at Helvear on 28/01. 4 Golden Plovers were on the Airfield on 26/01 and a Cetti’s Warbler & a Firecrest were on the Porth Hellick Loop Trail on 28/01. There was a small influx of white-winged gulls on 03/02 when an Iceland Gull & Glaucous Gull were at Porthloo and another Iceland Gull & another Glaucous Gull were at Porthcressa.
