Sunday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – 3 Wheatears were on the airfield.

Tresco – 60+ Sanderlings, a Common Redshank, a Turnstone and 10+ Whimbrels.

Teän – 2 Mediterranean Gulls.

At sea – The daytime pelagic produced 2 Wilson’s Storm-petrels, a Cory’s, 3 Sooty & 3 Great Shearwaters, 2 Great Skuas, 2 Blue Sharks and 3 Ocean Sunfish.

Monday’s birds were:

Tresco – The usual increase in herons at this time of year was evident with 10 Grey Herons and 7 Little Egrets also the were 7 Greenshanks on the Great Pool.

Annet – 12 Manx Shearwaters offshore.

At sea – The evening pelagic produced 80+ European Storm- Petrels, a Sooty Shearwater and a Great Skua.

Tuesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Wheatear was on Normandy Down.

St. Agnes – A Sanderling.

Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Greenshank was at Porth Hellick and 10+ Sandwich Terns were in Porthcressa Bay.

Thursday’s birds were:

Annet – 4 Manx Shearwaters and 5 Common Terns.

At sea – 50+ European Storm-petrels, a Great Skua and 5 Common Dolphins were seen on the evening pelagic trip.
