Tresco – The Iberian Chiffchaff was again singing from midway along the Abbey Drive

St Mary’s – A Hooded Crow appeared in Hugh Town late on this afternoon

Sundays Birds were:

St Mary’s – The Hooded Crow was again around Hugh Town today

Samson – The male Marsh Harrier was over the island this morning.

Mondays Birds were:

Tresco – The Iberian Chiffchaff was singing intermittently midway along the Abbey Drive again. On the Abbey Pool were two male Pochard and a male Tufted Duck and two Swifts were over the island.

At sea – The evening short-range pelagic trip produced – A first-summer Sabine’s Gull, a Sooty Shearwater, 40+ European Storm Petrels, 2 Ocean Sunfish and 2 Blue Sharks which were caught tagged & released.
