Wednesday’s birds were:
Inter-island waters – The first-winter drake Surf Scoter was still in Crow Sound (between St. Mary’s & St. Martin’).
St. Mary’s – The 2 juvenile Iceland Gulls were still on the Golf Course.
Friday’s birds were:
Inter-island waters – The first-winter drake Surf Scoter was still in Crow Sound (between St. Mary’s & St. Martin’).
St. Mary’s – The 2 juvenile Iceland Gulls were still on the Golf Course, 3 Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach and a Wheatear was on the end of Peninnis Head.
St. Agnes – A Water Pipit was at Porth Killier
Saturday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A juvenile Iceland Gull flew over Porthloo.
Sunday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – 2 Long-tailed Tits were seen at Helvear in the morning and were relocated near the hides at Porth Hellick early afternoon, before flying over the road towards Higher Moors. This species is a genuine rarity on Scilly and this was the first record since March 2011 when 8 were on Tresco. Also at Porth Hellick were 2 Siberian Chiffchaffs and a juvenile Iceland Gull, nearby a juvenile Glaucous Gull flew over Porth Hellick Down. A juvenile Iceland Gull flew over Pelistry.
St. Agnes – A Water Pipit and 2 Siberian Chiffchaffs.
Tresco – A juvenile Iceland Gull.
