Wilson’s Snipe –  1 still on Lower Moors Pool.

Sora Rail – 1 was still on Porth Hellick Pool and was trapped and ringed.

American Pipit – 1 was still at St. Warna’s Cove, St. Agnes.

Red-throated Pipit – 1 around Carn Vean.

Richard’s Pipit – 1 flew over Peninnis and then over Gugh and finally over Wingletang towards Horse Point, St. Agnes and probably the same at St. Agnes Campsite.

Red-backed Shrike – 1 still at the bulb  dump, Browarth. St. Agnes.

Lapland Bunting – 1 still on the  airfield.

Serin – 1 briefly at Longstone.

Common Rosefinch – 1 in brambles by the airfield turning circle, 1 opposite the Riding Stables and 1 on Castella Down, St. Agnes.

Rose-coloured Starling  – The juvenile was still in Old Town.

Barred Warbler – 1  still in bushes by New Grimsby Quay, Tresco.

Glossy Ibis – 2 still in at field by the “Moos” Normandy and 1 flew over Middle Town, Tresco.

Caspian Gull  – A first-winter at Periglis.

Arctic Skua – 1 flew past Spanish Ledge in Saint Mary’s Sound.

Grey Phalarope – 1 off the Steval, Garrison and 5 near to Spanish Ledge in Saint Mary’s Sound.

Grey Plover – 1 at Periglis, St. Agnes.

Golden Plover – 5 at the south end of King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Jack Snipe – 1 showing well on Lower Moors Pool and 1 Porth Hellick Pool.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 7 on Green Island Tresco and 1 on Campsite Beach, St. Agnes.

Whimbrel – 1 on Porthloo Beach and 1 in Old Town Bay.

Hobby – A juvenile at Buzza and an adult over Holy Vale.

Kingfisher  – 2 flew from Porth Hellick Beach to the pool.

Skylark – 8 at the south end of King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Siberian Lesser Whitethroat  – a “probable” was behind the beach Porth Hellick.

Common Whitethroat – 2 on St. Agnes.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 8 on St. Mary’s, 3 on St. Agnes, 1 on Gugh,1 on St. Martin’s, 1 on Bryher and 1 on Tresco.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 in the bushes at Shooters’ Pool,  1 in the Fruit Cage, St. Agnes and 1 on St. Martin’s.

Firecrest  – 1 still at Rocky Hill chalets and 2on Sunnyside Farm Trail.

Redwing  – 2 flew west over Lower Broome, Peninnis and 1 was in Troy town fields, St. Agnes.

Pied Flycatcher  – 2 above Great Bay, & 1 in the Middle Town Pines, St. Martin’s and 1 on Pool Road, Tresco.

Black Redstart  – 1 still at Little Porth and 2 on Peninnis.

Siskin – 1 at Pelistry.

Reed Bunting – 1 at Newman’s Battery, Garrison and 1 in Lower Moors.

Friday (09/10)

American Golden Plover – 1 flew over Hugh Town at 02:00 am.

Greenish Warbler  – A “probable” was calling near Church Quay, Bryher.

Pectoral Sandpiper  – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool flew to a field opposite Carn Vean before returning to Porth Hellick Pool.

Buff-breasted Sandpiper  – A “possible” flew over Porth Hellick Loop.

Glossy Ibis – 3 toured St. Mary’s and 1 was on Bryher

Caspian Gull  – An adult and a first-winter on St. Agnes.

Yellow-legged Gull  – 1 on Samson.

Great Skua – 1 in Scilly waters  seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Golden Plover – 5 still in the field before the gate on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Grey Plover – 2 Lawrence’s Bay, St. Martin’s.

Bat-tailed Godwit  – 2 Porthloo and 5 Lawrence’s Bay, St. Martin’s.

Whimbrel – 3 at Innisidgen.

Jack Snipe – 1 Lower Moors Pool and 1 Porth Hellick Pool.

European Storm-petrel – 11 in Scilly waters  seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Great Northern Diver – 1 flew west past Morning Point on the Garrison.

Pochard – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Merlin – 1 Kittydown.

Kingfisher – 3 on St. Mary’s.

Turtle Dove – 1 on St. Martin’s,

Rose-coloured Starling – The juvenile was still in Old Town.

Lapland Bunting – 1 still on the airfield and on the track at the back of Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Skylark Gull  – 9 on Peninnis and 3 at the Riding Stables.

Garden Warbler – 1 Rocky Hill.

Lesser Whitethroat – 1 at Porth Hellick.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 4 together on Porth Hellick Loop, 1 near the Municipal Dump, 1 in Lower Moors, 1 at High Cross Lane junction, 1 near St. Martin’s Cricket Pitchand1 at Rowesfield crossroads, Tresco.

Firecrest  –  3 in Carreg Dhu Gardens,  1 Watermill, 1 Old Town Churchyard, 1 still at Rocky Hill chalets and 1 Middle Town Pines, St. Martin’s.

Spotted Flycatcher  – 1 in Carreg Dhu Gardens.

Pied Flycatcher  – 5 on St. Martin’s.

Common Redstart  – 1 at Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s.

Black Redstart  – 1 still at Little Porth.

Reed Bunting – 1 in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors.

Saturday (10/10)

Spotted Crake – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Great White Egret – 1 flew over Hugh Town.

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 still on Porth Hellick Pool (photo), unfortunately it was taken by a Sparrowhawk early evening.

Rose-coloured Starling – The juvenile was still in Old Town.

Serin  – 1 flew through Lower Moors.

Golden Plover – 5 still in a field at the south end of King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Turtle Dove  – 1 on Lower Town Fields, St. Martin’s (photo).

Skylark – 2 St. Martin’s.

Yellow-browed Warbler  –6 Porth Hellick/Higher Moors (1 of which was caught and ringed), 2 in Holy Vale, 1 in the Dump Clump, 1 Lower Moors, 1 at the turning to Carn Gwaval in Ivy, 1 at the Rat Pond, Content , 2 in the Parsonage Garden, St. Agnes and 1 by St. Martin’s cricket pitch.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 by St. Martin’s cricket pitch.

Lesser Whitethroat – 1 in the Dump Clump.

Firecrest  – 4 Trewince, 1 Longstone and 1 Appletree Glade, Bryher.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s.

Pied Flycatcher – 4 on St. Martin’s.

Black Redstart  – 1 still at Little Porth and 1 by Peninnis Lighthouse.

Tree Pipit – 1 by St. Martin’s cricket pitch.

Siskin – 1 flew south over Longstone.

Reed Bunting  – 1 Porth Hellick and 1 Lower Moors.

Lesser Emperor Dragonfly –  1 at Porth Minnick.
