Short-toed Lark – 1 still around Peninnis Lighthouse
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still om St. Agnes (photo).
Lapland Bunting – 1 on the airfield in the evening and it or another near Pulpit Rock, Peninnis Head.
Great Shearwater – 6 in Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the late afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Sooty Shearwater – 2 in Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the late afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Glossy Ibis – 2 circled St. Agnes Pool and 1 dropped in Before moving to Porth Coose. 1 also over Peninnis and 1 was still on the Abbey Pool.
Great White Egret – 2 dropped into Abbey Pool, Tresco and 8! landed on Bryher .Pool the flew off 10 minutes later.
Grey Phalarope – 1 in Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the late afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Kingfisher – 1 at Porth Hellick.
Wryneck – 1 on the coastal path on west side of Peninnis and 1 was on the footpath at St. Warna’s Cove, St. Agnes.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 at Longstone.
Common Redstart – 1 at Longstone and 2 on St. Martin’s.
Pied Flycatcher – 2 in Popplestone Fields. Bryher.
Monarch – 1 was been harried by 2 Red Admirals on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Short-toed Lark – 1 still around Peninnis Lighthouse

Hoopoe – 1 briefly at English Point, St. Martin’s.
Lapland Bunting – 1 on Peninnis flew towards Pulpit Rock and it or another east of the airport terminal building in the evening.
Glossy Ibis – 2 still on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Cory’s Shearwater – 3 near Bishop Rock.
Sooty Shearwater –1 near Bishop Rock.
Common Sandpiper – 1 on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 6 on the beach at Pentle Bay and 1 at Porthloo.
Short-eared Owl – 2 on Samson.
Wryneck – 1 on the path near English Island Point, St. Martin’s.
Turtle Dove – 1 flew over the Garrison Football Pitch, 1 at Golf Farm (photo) and 1 at English Point, St. Martin’s.
Skylark – 1 on Peninnis and 1 on the airfield.
Lesser Whitethroat – 1 on Pound Lane, St. Martin’s.
Firecrest – 1 at Longstone and 1 on St. Agnes.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 at Shooters’ Pool, Lower Moors and 1 Longstone.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 at Newford Duck Pond, 1 Longstone, 1 Pool Road Tresco, and 1 pines at Middle Town, St. Martin’s.
Common Redstart – 1 at Mount Todden.
Whinchat – 1 at Mount Todden.
Yellow Wagtail – 3 on Peninnis.0
Grey Wagtail – 1 at Longstone and 1 at Newford Duck Pond.
Friday (25/09)
Upland Sandpiper – 1 was found St. Agnes late afternoon (photos). This is the 15th record for Scilly and the first since 2011.
Eastern Olivaceous Warbler – The bird on Gugh was unfortunately found dead.
Subalpine Warbler – A male was on the Garrison by the path from Morning Point to the campsite.
Short-toed Lark – 1 still around Peninnis.
Lapland Bunting – 1 on Peninnis between the end of King Edward’s Lane and the Lighthouse.
Great White Egret – 1 flew from Porth Hellick Pool and was later on Lower Moors Pool.
Glossy Ibis – 2 flew over Lower Moors and were found later in a field by the track at the back of Carn Vean Tea Rooms.
European Storm-petrel – 13 between St. Mary’s and Wolf Rock.
Sooty Shearwater –6between St. Mary’s and Wolf Rock.
Grey Phalarope – 29 between St. Mary’s and Wolf Rock.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 flew over Castells, St. Agnes.
Whimbrel – 1 on Porthloo Beach.
Short-eared Owl – 1 flying along the southeast side of Peninnis.
Merlin – 1 over Wingletang, St. Agnes.
Kingfisher – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.
Wryneck – 1 at Browarth, St. Agnes and 1 in the field opposite the Riding Stables.
Turtle Dove – 1 still opposite the entrance to the golf course and 1 in Chapel Fields, St. Agnes.
Common Redstart – 3 on St. Mary’s. 5 on St. Agnes, 1 on St. Martin’s.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 in the field opposite the Riding Stables.
Grey Wagtail – 1 in the field opposite the Riding Stables and 1 on Shooters’ Pool, St. Agnes.
Monarch – 1 at Normandy Corner.
