Cory’s Shearwater – c100 were seen on a short 3 hour daytime pelagic trip 9 miles southwest of St. Mary’s.

Great Shearwater – 10 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Sooty Shearwater – 5 on the daytime pelagic trip and 1 flew past Deep Point.

Arctic Skua – 2 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Arctic Skua – 1 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Yellow-legged Gull – 2 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Little Grebe – 1 on Tresco.

Pintail – 3 on Tresco.

Cattle Egret  – 1 in the iris field north of the road opposite to the path to Porth Hellick and was on the pool in the evening.

Little ringed Plover – 1 still on St. Agnes Pool.

Wood Sandpiper – 1 on Tresco.

Green Sandpiper – 2 briefly on Porth Hellick Pool and 13 on Tresco.

Common Sandpiper – 5 on Tresco

Little Stint – 1 on Tresco.

Ruff – 1 on Tresco.

Knot  – 2 on Pentle Beach, Tresco.

Bar-tailed  Godwit – 5 on Pentle Beach, Tresco.

Black-tailed  Godwit – 1 on Tresco.

Kingfisher – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool and 1 flew down Tresco Channel.

Wryneck  – 2 on the Garrison, 1 by Bryher Pool and 1 in the log pile behind Pentle Bay, Tresco.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 at Longstone.

Pied Flycatcher – 3 at Borough Farm, 1 at Longstone and 1 at Trewince.

Nightingale – 1 on Telegraph.

Redstart  – 1 in Mount Todden Pines.

Yellow Wagtail– 2 on Tresco.

Bottlenose Dolphin – 1 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Short-beaked Common Dolphin – 6 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Atlantic Bluefin Tuna – 6 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Ocean Sunfish – 1 on the daytime pelagic trip.

Citrine Wagtail –  A female was on St. Agnes Pool.

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Honey Buzzard – A dark phase bird flew in off the sea at Browarth, St. Agnes and was later seen over the golf course/Porthloo area.

Wilson’s Storm-petrel –  22 on the evening  pelagic trip 7 miles southeast of St. Mary’s.

Cory’s Shearwater – 18 on the evening  pelagic trip 7 miles southeast of St. Mary’s.

Great Shearwater – 7 on the evening  pelagic trip 7 miles southeast of St. Mary’s.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 at Longstone.

Tree Pipit – 1 on Porth Hellick Down.

Citrine Wagtail –  The female was still on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Buff-breasted Sandpiper –  The first of the autumn was 1in a paddock by the entrance to the riding stables at Pelistry and later in fields by the lane to Mount Todden.

Dotterel – 1 on Wingletang, St. Agnes (photo).

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 was still on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Corncrake  – 1 flew off the track to Porth Hellick into deep vegetation.

Wilson’s Storm-petrel – 2 on the evening  pelagic trip 9 miles southwest of St. Mary’s.

Europea Storm-petrel – 20 on the evening  pelagic trip 9 miles southwest of St. Mary’s.

Long-tailed Skua  – 2 (1 dark phase and 1 blonde phase) which gave very close and prolonged views on the evening pelagic trip 9 miles southwest of St. Mary’s (photos).

Arctic Skua  – 2 on the evening pelagic trip 9 miles southwest of St. Mary’s.

Great Skua – 1 on the evening  pelagic trip 9 miles southwest of St. Mary’s.

Little Ringed Plover – 1 still on St. Agnes on the cricket pitch.

Wryneck – 1 on a stone wall at the end of King Edward’s Lane Peninnis and 1 at Lower Town, St. Martin’s.

Yellow Wagtail – 1 on the airfield.
