Great White – 1 flew north over Porth Hellick pumping station.
Shoveler – A female on St. Agnes Pooll.
Grey Plover – 1 on Periglis Beach, St. Agnes.
House Martin – 3 early returning birds over the Turk’s Head pub on St. Agnes and 1 at Sallyport.
Raven – 1 around the Daymark, St. Martin’s.
Fin whale – 2 in Crow Sound,
Thursday (19/02)
Bonaparte’s Gull – A first-winter bird was in Porth Bay and on the Beach.
Cattle Egret – 3 at Old Grimsby, Tresco
Great White Egret –1 at New Grimsby, Tresco in the morning was later on Porth Hellick Pool.
Little Egret – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.
Swallow – The first of the year was 1 on Peninnis.
House Martin – 1 at Porth Wreck.
Fin whale – 2 off Deep Point.
Friday (20/02)
Bonaparte’s Gull – The bird found at Porth Hellick yesterday showed very well at Little Porth.
Mediterranean Gull – 3 in Porth Cressa.
Swallow – 1 feeding over the road at Higher Moors.
Saturday (21/02)
Bonaparte’s Gull – It was back at Little Porth early afternoon.
Mediterranean Gull – 1 flew over Little Porth.
Swallow – 1 at Sallyport
Black Redstart – 2 Little Porth.
Grey Wagtail – 1 Little Porth.
Sunday (22/02)
Bonaparte’s Gull – It was seen in Old Town Bay and then moved to Little Porth (photo).
Swallow – 1 at Higher Moors north of the road.
House Martin – 1 over Higher Moors pumping Station.
